Known in the local areas as Nans, the pub has cemented its place within the community, undergoing development over the years for more modern additions while also keeping its classic, Irish stone aesthetic.

Nans has been in the McArdle family ever since the 1980s, with Pat and Blinnia’s son Rós taking over the pub over 15 years ago. Rós has worked hard to retain the heart of Nans while also growing the pub’s reputation in Newry and beyond as a popular location for delicious drinks, incredible live music, and amazing entertainment.
